Kosa Akaraiwe is an Nigerian-Canadian actor and filmmaker based in Toronto, Canada. He began his journey in the acting world before expanding his craft to include writing, directing, and producing — building a body of work deeply rooted in questions of identity, belonging, and diaspora experience.
Over the years, Kosa has appeared in multiple feature films, short films, TV series, and commercials. More recently, he stepped behind the camera — writing, producing, and starring in his own projects. He recently landed lead roles in the feature films Thanks For The Room by Canadian filmmakers The Butler Brothers and The Life Coach by Patricia Bebia.
